Abstract

Teacher professional development is essential in our efforts to improve student's literacy skills. This project maps out the process of designing personalized professional development that targets school's literacy data. It provides an overview of the data collected, types of professional development offered, and the outcomes of student and teacher learning. By providing personalized professional development it engages teachers and provides opportunities for teachers to work collaboratively, use digital tools, analyze data, and reflect on their teaching practices. When guided by a focus for professional development, school leaders are able to provide meaningful learning experiences for teachers and support student's growth with literacy skills.
